MEESH'S FULL MOON PARTY

Last night I got my vintage on and made my way to Burleigh Heads to Meesh's Restaurant for their first Full Moon Party. A beautiful night with the full moon beaming bright, I wore my grandmothers fur stole and a new hair do reminiscent of Carrie's short style when she was freelancing for Vogue in SATC. Feeling very glam with my glomesh clutch and crochet dress, I strutted down to the venue located on the beach front ready for an evening of cocktails and canapes.

As the waves crashed up against the side of the restauraunt sitting in the round booths, the moonlight beaming in, I feasted on the tasty delights of pork belly, scallops, beef mignon, bruschetta and the incredible desserts listening to sounds of the band.

It was a fabulous night, and I can't wait to go back next week  for lunch to enjoy the view  which I know is going to incredible.



One of the main sponsors of the night was the Burleigh Brewing Co. which I had the pleasure of spending most of the night with. As you can see from above the bottling is very cool, and although I only got to sample the 28 Pale Ale, which was super tasty, I was impressed not only by the staff but the concept of the company. The first Friday of every month they have live music and a BBQ and every other Friday POPCORN!!! So next Friday, guess where i'll be :-)

It’s been a rough weekend. I had a total meltdown on Friday night after a build up of stresses got the better of me. After taking my frustrations out on my partner, I ran off taking the keys to the car and ended up in a park down the road in the dark by myself sitting on a swing in a completely hysterical state just crying.
