The food, service and company was fantastic which made for a very memorable night. Cannot rave about the caramelised banana tartlet enough - so so amazing. Last night I went to the red carpet Australian Premiere of "Dredd 3D" at Jupiters Casino & Hotel. Whilst enjoying the cocktails and canapes at the pre-party I caught visuals of the celebs for the night, Anthony Callea & partner, one of The Veronicas and the lead actor in the movie Karl Urban. Nice little goodie bag including a "Red" Blu-ray featuring Bruce Willis, Morgan Freeman, John Malkovich and Helen Mirren; Dairy Milk giant buttons (yum chocolate) and some other little treats perfect for movie time. The movie itself, I thought, was great in 3D - pretty gory (just the way I like it) with a lot of bad one liners. The special effects were incredible but this movie is definitely not for the faint hearted. I got to wear this stunning neon necklace from Dinjuan which I built my outfit around. The start of a new week and today i'm wearing my new floral harem pants I picked up from Trade Secret on Friday when I bought the skull jumper. Another beautiful Gold Coast day and I'm headed down to Bond University to "Bond By The Lake". A free creative arts and cultural festival celebrating the 1920's. My weekly Saturday rituals had me up at 5.15am ready for the garage sales, car boot sales and markets. The sunrise was magnificent over the Broadwater, and to have this view from my balcony reminded me how lucky I am to live on the amazing Gold Coast. Wearing my candy stripe leggings I picked up for pittance at Lifeline and my GC Hustle tee that I've reworked to a singlet. After hitting a couple of garage sales, my friend and I headed to Burleigh Farmers Markets for some breakfast. The day was magnificent, and after demolishing a chicken, spinach and fetta pide I came across a stall that did eye brow threading and henna. This fabulous piece of artwork took only about 5mins and cost $10 - bargain!

A day of errands and the commencement of packing so thought I would experiment with print mixing from Kmart. My favourite pants and spotted peplum top. Who says you need to follow the rules?? Friday night I headed to Miami Marketta with friends, amazing night market held at the fabulous creative space Rabbit & Cocoon. Market stalls, food stalls, live music and alcohol - what a perfect night out! Wearing a new jumper I picked up today on my travels (yes yes I know I was supposed to be packing) from Trade Secret. LOVE SKULLS!!!

Today, I was lucky enough to attend an intimate luncheon at Seaduction, the incredible five star restaurant located at Sea Temple in Surfers Paradise to celebrate the launch of Charlotte Dawsons' new book "Air Kiss & Tell" which is a raw and real account of her life - the good, the bad and the hilarious. Speaking frankly about some of her life experiences Charlotte opened up about "that" Twitter incident as well as her divorce and looking after her dying mother. As a suffering of depression she is now focussing her efforts to educate on mental health as well as bullying. A true inspiration to women of all ages, her parting comment was "never be ashamed"...
