SATURDAY RITUALS

My weekly Saturday rituals had me up at 5.15am ready for the garage sales, car boot sales and markets.

The sunrise was magnificent over the Broadwater, and to have this view from my balcony reminded me how lucky I am to live on the amazing Gold Coast.

Wearing my candy stripe leggings I picked up for pittance at Lifeline and my GC Hustle tee that I've reworked to a singlet.

After hitting a couple of garage sales, my friend and I headed to Burleigh Farmers Markets for some breakfast. The day was magnificent, and after demolishing a chicken, spinach and fetta pide I came across a stall that did eye brow threading and henna.

This fabulous piece of artwork took only about 5mins and cost $10 - bargain!

GOODBYE CHARLOTTE DAWSON

It’s been a rough weekend. I had a total meltdown on Friday night after a build up of stresses got the better of me. After taking my frustrations out on my partner, I ran off taking the keys to the car and ended up in a park down the road in the dark by myself sitting on a swing in a completely hysterical state just crying. Classic Bipolar episode, luckily I was lucid enough to tell my partner where I was so he could walk to where I was, as I was in no state to drive. I’ve been stressed for weeks and it just got too much, a complete emotional overload. I was stressed about dealings with a creative agency I’d been trying to work with to get my blog to where I want it to be within my small budget. I was stressed about issues with my parents and their separation and the toll it was taking on my relationship with my mum. I was stressed about the house and cleaning.  I’d been stressed about my health and my weight.  I’d been stressed about my partner and his work

BODYTRIM - PHASE 1

So, Monday I started Phase 1 of the Bodytrim Weight Loss system, I'm not calling it a diet, I'm not making a big deal of it.  For those of you that follow my blog you'll know that this is my second attempt at trying something serious, below is the link to my journey with fabulous Personal Trainer Brendan Junge from In Motion Fitness Health and Fitness who taught me a great deal last year. See blog post HERE As a result of a serious health condition and medications that I take and have to take for the rest of my life, over the last 5 years I have put on over 20 kg.
