GET IT MAGAZINE XMAS PARTY 2012

On Wednesday, our fabulous little team (minus our gorgeous Editor Sarah - we missed you darling) got together the milestone that was 2012. With some massive changes and some outstanding accomplishments, the Get it team have grown from strength to strength.

So, to celebrate our our winnings, Lea, Aimi and I headed to one of our clients restaurants for an afternoon of bubbles and bonding as only ladies in publishing know how... haha.

Our destination - Lauxes on the Park in Broadbeach

A delightful 6 hour lunch of Chandon, oysters, Chandon, duck, Chandon, pork belly, Moreton Bay bug and Chandon.

GOODBYE CHARLOTTE DAWSON

It’s been a rough weekend. I had a total meltdown on Friday night after a build up of stresses got the better of me. After taking my frustrations out on my partner, I ran off taking the keys to the car and ended up in a park down the road in the dark by myself sitting on a swing in a completely hysterical state just crying. Classic Bipolar episode, luckily I was lucid enough to tell my partner where I was so he could walk to where I was, as I was in no state to drive. I’ve been stressed for weeks and it just got too much, a complete emotional overload. I was stressed about dealings with a creative agency I’d been trying to work with to get my blog to where I want it to be within my small budget. I was stressed about issues with my parents and their separation and the toll it was taking on my relationship with my mum. I was stressed about the house and cleaning.  I’d been stressed about my health and my weight.  I’d been stressed about my partner and his work

BODYTRIM - PHASE 1

So, Monday I started Phase 1 of the Bodytrim Weight Loss system, I'm not calling it a diet, I'm not making a big deal of it.  For those of you that follow my blog you'll know that this is my second attempt at trying something serious, below is the link to my journey with fabulous Personal Trainer Brendan Junge from In Motion Fitness Health and Fitness who taught me a great deal last year. See blog post HERE As a result of a serious health condition and medications that I take and have to take for the rest of my life, over the last 5 years I have put on over 20 kg. Unfortunately, these medications have affected my liver and will continue to which have and will make it very difficult for me to lose that weight.  On the upside it's done wonders for my condition but has made it very difficult to lose the fat, which has caused other issues such as low self esteem blah blah blah.
