MY OUTDOOR HAVEN

It's amazing what $100, some up-cycling and creative minds can do. When I moved into my new place, I wanted to create a relaxing, bohemian chillout area on my balcony, but with 12m of it, wasn't sure where to start. So with the help of my amazing friend Robbie who has the gift of home styling, we started with some key pieces that I already had:

  • Dressing Room Screen
  • Coffee Table
  • Shelving System
  • Bird Cage (pulled from a dumpster and resprayed)
  • Decor items (mostly sourced from garage sales)
The rug, ottomans, fencing (Bunnings) and plant were all purchased second hand and added to create this gorgeous outdoor haven that is absolute Heaven xx

  1. What happens when a big storm, gust of wind, rain or hail come along? Will they get blown away, soaked, battered, knocked over? I always wonder about balconies in storms.
