MASTERS OF HOME IMPROVEMENT

This weekend, I decided to make my maiden voyage down to Masters Home Improvement Nerang to get some inspiration for my new Showroom. A friend of mine told me the day before that "I would love it and wouldn't want to leave"... well turns out, he was right! 

From the minute I walked in to the pristine air conditioned warehouse I was greeted by friendly staff and lots of smiles. I instantly made a beeline for McDonalds - Yes, that's right, there is a maccas in the store, grabbed a drink and headed down one end of the store to start the adventure. Needless to say I was pretty excited!

There is obviously all the tradie and standard home improvement stuff there, but the difference between Masters and their "competitor" is the addition of home decor which is where the fun begins....

The above is just the tip of the iceberg, they also have room dividers/dressing room screens, storage (there is a whole isle - it's like a mini Howards Storage World), cleaning products for house and auto and not forgetting the appliances. Appliances including dryers, washers, fridges, ovens, cooktops, microwaves and vacuum cleaners and all the top brands.

The garden section was immaculate, and unlike their competitor when you need help there is actually a staff member around to help you with a smile on their face.

I was incredibly impressed and will definitely be back.

Well done Masters - a bit of competition may just hurt someone!

After a crazy weekend of celebrating our friends Hen's and Bucks (needless to say the chores and shopping didn't get done) - the boy came home from a long day's work and being the good girlfriend I am (hehe) I suggested take out for dinner. UNCOVERING THE BRISBANE LOOK

This Thursday evening, I will be one of the lucky few to be attending the exclusive screening of "Uncovering the Brisbane Look".  QueensPlaza in association with Mercedes-Benz Brisbane is launching an inspiring documentary film to celebrate Brisbane's style at the GoMA . Former Vogue Editor, Kirstie Clements narrates the film and plays the role as Executive Producer while it looks at it's creativity, passion and everything that draws us in about Brisbane's thriving fashion industry.
