My relationship with foundation has been a bit of a rocky ride.

Growing up in a small surfy town, I never wore a drop of foundation outside of the dance studio. This all changed when I moved to the glamorous Gold Coast.

Living in the land of the Glamazon, I am yet to find the right foundation to have a monogamous relationship with. I have tried a myriad of products- from super thick blends to barely-there coverage that fades in a manner of hours.

With the Silk Oil of Morocco foundation and powder I think I have found the happy medium!

Today I am test-driving the Silk Oil of Morocco liquid mineral foundation and mineral powder foundation in beige.

Straight away I am amazed by the gorgeous, luxurious, golden packaging- these products look like exotic jewels on my shelf!

The liquid foundation is easy to apply- with a pump action dispenser it blends easily onto my skin and provides medium coverage. The powder can be used over the top of the liquid, and can also be used as a facial contour.
I have slightly sensitive skin, so I am happy to learn that this mineral foundation is paraben free and contains natural anti aging and sun protection ingredients.

The finished look as you can see is fantastic - my skin looks airbrushed and there is not a single freckle in sight! A perfect base to begin any beauty look.

This product will definitely be my new go to for nights out on the town and for busy days at work.

After a crazy weekend of celebrating our friends Hen's and Bucks (needless to say the chores and shopping didn't get done) - the boy came home from a long day's work and being the good girlfriend I am (hehe) I suggested take out for dinner.
