My Gasoline Rainbow

Last Friday night, I dined at one of the most talked about restaurants on the Gold Coast - Hellenika, Traditional Greek Eatery at Nobby Beach. To say the night was fantastic would be an understatement. The ambience, the service, and the food. Simon and his team put together an incredible 7 course banquet with matched wines for myself and my 2 guests.... We didnt even realise the restaurant was packing up and 3 hours had gone by we were having such an amazing time.   As I drove to Kingscliff peak hour on Friday afternoon, I took in the sites and came across this amazing body of water. As the sun set I took these two photos. Not normally a very good photographer I was so happy with how they came out.... Definitely set the mood for my overnight stay. I'm over 2 weeks past deadline and I think my editor is about to launch a well deserved attack... the weather, much like my writers block is rolling in and out as I look over the ocean waiting for a break.  The countdown is on.... tick tock tick tock

For those of you that didn't get around to checking out my review of the fabulous Hilton Surfers Paradise in the last issue of GC Mag www.gcmag.com.au  (naughty naughty), i've made it nice and easy for you..... here it is! Now the next issue will be out end of January which will be a BUMPER issue so there will be heaps of cool shit in it as usual and i've managed to convince the editor to let me theme a cool festival fashion section ladies so get excited!!!!!!!
