International Dutch lingerie designer Marlies Dekkers was the first show at QT Fashion Week and Awards. Having such a high profile label on the Gold Coast was fantastic to see and knowing her collection has graced the bodies of superstars of SJP, Lady Gaga, Rihanna, Victoria Beckham and Dita von Teese to name a few it was great to see the Africa collection in full, really showcasing her concept "underwear as outerwear".

Monday night, Stingray Lounge at QT Gold coast played host to the launch of QT Fashion Week & Awards to a guest list of media, buyers, the fashion chic, models, sponsors and the Gold Coast VIP elite.  It was a wonderful start to the week featuring a surprise showcasing of costumes from Robbie Williams and Lady Gaga as well as a photo booth to keep the guests entertained. Free flowing energy drinks by our fabulous sponsor 28 Black as well as platters of delicious shoes by local retailer Envy QLD . QT Fashion Week and Awards is proud to announce White Sands Swimwear as the sponsor for “Best Up and Coming Swimwear Designer 2013”. The winner of the award will be awarded $2000 cash to invest back into their swimwear label. Thursday 7th March was my 34th birthday, yes, although most women are reluctant to declare their age, I, on the other hand am loud and proud. A) Because, thanks to good strong genetics I'm lucky enough to not look my age; B) After all I've been through over the years, i've so grateful to be alive, in one piece (physically and mentally - well mostly lol) and living an incredible life that I love.
