SEA WORLD CRUISES

Image
Last Saturday, we ( Get it Magazine ) were invited to join Sea World Cruises for a cruise on the Broadwater boarding at Sea World, cruising to Sanctuary Cove and stopping for a delicious lunch at Leos Latino Bar & Grill. Departing at 10.30am our small group took off an absolutely glorious morning, the sun was beaming, the cruiser was gleaming we couldn't have asked for a better Gold Coast summer day. The GC waterways are such an underrated attraction... we had such a wonderful time, relaxing, enjoying the view, as we cruised passed Sovereign Islands sipping on champagne on the top deck spotting wildlife and listening to the cruise commentary. After the 1.5hr cruise aboard the 24m vessel to Sanctuary Cove, we docked to enjoy a 2 hour stopover to have lunch at Leo's and explore Marine Village. A thoroughly enjoyable day. Thank you  xx $79 for cruise and lunch (adult) $99 for cruise and lunch + entry to Sea World www.seaworldcruises.c...

COVE CAFE AT HYATT REGENCY, SANCTUARY COVE

Image
Saturday night I was lucky enough to be invited to dine at the fabulous Cove Cafe, located at the Hyatt Regency Sanctuary Cove. Unable to get a dining partner for the night, I headed off to 'fancy' land for my 7pm reservation. I don't usually get the opportunity to drive up that way at night time, so enjoyed the views of the lights. Finding a park at the Hyatt was mildly frustrating - it was very poorly lit and unfortunately full, so ended up parking in the main carpark. Not too far, but in heels... well you know lol Had the front door opened for me by a concierge cutie, nice touch, and wandered down to Cove Cafe which is located downstairs. For $49 per person you are able to enjoy a delicious international buffet with a selection of traditional dishes from around the world including a roast, lamb chops, octopus salad, pasta, a cheese station and to compliment your meal, enjoy the wine buffet for an additional $11 per person. The food was amazing, the venue divi...

BUSINESSGC RTW 2012 PRESENTS YOPIE

Image
Yesterday I had the pleasure of attending the BusinessGC Ready 2 Wear Fashion Parade at the Hyatt Regency Sanctuary Cove to bear witness to eleven fabulous emerging local designers.  Yopie Stafurik is just one of the standout few that really made an impact on me with her bold colours, beautiful fabrics, stunning lines and stylish designs. Playsuits, leather jackets, flowing dresses, structured skirts and pants Yopie has it all. Starting her label in 2006, Yopie has come along way and taken on many challenges including her appearance on Australia's second season of Project Runway in 2010. Expect to see a lot more from her... Here are just a few images from the show (taken from her Facebook page). Hair and Makeup:: Runway Express Models:: Katz Management www.yopie.com.au
