Today was the model casting for QT Fashion Week & Awards. With over 100 models from Sunshine Coast, Brisbane and Gold Coast agencies turning up to the invitation only casting Michaela Fitzgerald (Event Co-ordinator) and I had our work cut out for us choosing only ten for the week in April. Held on level one of QT Gold Coast out the front of the luxurious Spa Q, the girls came up in groups of five, first walking in jeans and top then changing into swimwear. Below are just a few pics of what went on at the casting. To select the face of the QT Fashion Week & Awards, I am lucky enough to have two incredibly experienced, beautiful and talented women joining myself on the judging panel, and those lovely ladies are Leah Madden and Simone Bennett-Smith. Simone Bennett-Smith Stunning Gold-Coaster, Simone Bennett-Smith, is a skilled actress, presenter, MC, stylist and model with over 20-years international industry experience. She boasts copious credits to her name including advertising campaigns (Telstra, Zyrtec, Nissan, Mazda, American Express, Suncorp), television ( Queensland’s Best Living, Mermaids, The Sleepover Club, Packed to the Rafters, Reef Doctors, Lightning Point ) and film roles ( Crooked Business, Under the Radar, and Deception to name a few). As well as maintaining a profile as a popular Australian model and presenter, Simone is presently building her styling business with a focus on fashion and homes – something she is truly passionate about, and that she is particularly well...

So today was a hectic day, with a final meeting at the fabulous QT Gold Coast to ensure all is in place for the Face of QT Fashion Week & Awards Finals  at Stingray Lounge tomorrow night (Thursday 7th March) from 6.30pm. With all the t's crossed and i's dotted I headed down to Australia Fair  to scout for my first Top 10 Buys which was so much fun. It was also a great opportunity for me to get to know all the Retailers down there, so stay tuned for some great style and great offers! My outfit today, jumper from Kmart - these come in a variety of prints and colours and are nice and lightweight. I love this mint colour and the studs on the shoulders. The leopard loafers a steal at $5, also from Kmart. Where? Australia Fair Lace shorts from Supre, a feminine touch and of course my new gorgeous fuchsia Chanel - thanks mum xx
