My Gasoline Rainbow

It's a beautiful Friday morning so i've headed down to the Broadwater before a busy day of organising interviews for MBFF in Brisbane at the end of August. I'm wearing a skirt I picked up at a garage sale a couple of weeks ago. I love it because of the light cotton fabric and cute houses mixed with the grey and bright colours. Perfect in time for Spring. The clutch is another op shop bargain, made of flax. Surprisingly large it fits everything in it including my wallet, camera, Blackberry and notepad and pen, plus my lipgloss. My earrings,rings and bangles are all vintage from my mum's teenage years. And as you can see I've pulled the green from the skirt in with the green in one of the rings. I love mixing up my outfit with those personal touches. A week ago I had the absolute pleasure of staying a night at the glorious new Hilton in Surfers Paradise. Putting aside the fact it was the first time in my ..... years of being single that I actually hated being alone I had a fantastic night of luxury soaking up the 2 bedroom "Residence" with a view that took my breath away, chilling out watching Harold & Kumar in a bed that was like floating on a cloud of pillows and stuffing my face at the buffet breakfast at Salt.... below are a few little pics....
