When I was a kid I thought for sure by the year 2000, the world would be like The Jetsons and we'd be zipping around in our space cars, with robots as our personal maids and we'd have secret pens, shoes and watches as phones - yes ok so there is a bit of Bond and Inspector Gadget in there, but I was a kid lol The year 2000 goes by and there are no workable/sellable space cars in sight however today launches the Samsung Galaxy Gear Smart Watch. As reviewed by Luke Hopewell HERE  it still has a long way to go but is definitely the first step in advancement technology in phone companionship. I think this is cool - and very super spy walking around talking into your wrist, although it may cause some unnecessary paranoia to the sensitive. I can think of nothing better than NOT having to rummage around in my ridiculously oversized bag every time I hear the various annoying sounds emanate from my iPhone, and just being able to check my watch for the text, email or ca...

It was a night of all things Rugby League but as usual the girlfriends and wives were the belles of the ball. However it seemed like it was designer Steven Khalil on show.... I haven't been well of late. I haven't been well at all, which is why my blog posts have been a bit sporadic and some of my content has been a bit all over the place. My creative outlet has always been the best form of healing but lately I haven't been able to focus, which has been incredibly frustrating for me. I've never really been a HUGE fan of Star Wars but my boyfriend is, and recently I found a couple of really cool items that I couldn't resist in purchasing as I knew he would love them and as I mentioned there are really really cool and practical! Star Wars Darth Vader Mints  - these were a last minute purchase at the counter after purchasing the item below. Under $5 but I loved the tin and knew that I would find a use after the mints were long gone.  Little did we know when the tin was busted open that mints were shaped like Darths' head too - love it! Star Wars R2-D2 4-Port USB Hub  - this cute piece of hardware is such a great gift for your nerdy boyfriend (or yourself, or anyone.....) it's got 4 usb ports in a hub that comes as R2-D2 - what's not to love?
