What a Night...


Svelt PR's client Division Model Management brought a little Miami to the Gold Coast on Saturday 22 May 2010 with "From South Beach With Love..." at Komune Resort & Beach Club in Coolangatta.
With runway showcases by Designer Forum and Subfusco and a preview by emerging Gold Coast designer Mac & Bain to the backdrop of a firetwirler, the models strutted their stuff over a floating catwalk.
With a star studded guest list including CEO of FashionTV Australia, international models, Sea Patrol actor Conrad Colby plus more... the event was a huge success.
Guests were treated to live entertainment during the fashion parade then VIP guests were invited to continue partying in the Penthouse to the sounds of GAS - ambient electro group from Byron Bay.
Sponsors included Vodka O, Mods Hair, Splash Day Spa, FashionTV Australia, Arbonne and Apollo Magazine.

GOODBYE CHARLOTTE DAWSON

It’s been a rough weekend. I had a total meltdown on Friday night after a build up of stresses got the better of me. After taking my frustrations out on my partner, I ran off taking the keys to the car and ended up in a park down the road in the dark by myself sitting on a swing in a completely hysterical state just crying. Classic Bipolar episode, luckily I was lucid enough to tell my partner where I was so he could walk to where I was, as I was in no state to drive. I’ve been stressed for weeks and it just got too much, a complete emotional overload. I was stressed about dealings with a creative agency I’d been trying to work with to get my blog to where I want it to be within my small budget. I was stressed about issues with my parents and their separation and the toll it was taking on my relationship with my mum. I was stressed about the house and cleaning.  I’d been stressed about my health and my weight.  I’d been stressed about my partner and his work

Body Makeover... REJECTED by my trainer

It is with much surprise, sadness and contemplation that I write this blog post... I don't live in a world of fairy floss and unicorns but I have to say that my life is fairly blessed.  I laugh every day, I love my home and my beautiful cat and best mate Neo. I have a wonderful and talented assistant who is just as passionate about my business as I am and makes life so much easier. My family is amazing and I have some wonderful friends. I get to review beauty products, restaurants and bars, interview celebrities and do cool activities like feed tigers and flying trapeze.  I love what I do and I love my life, so at the beginning of the year when I made the decision to lose the excess weight I'd gained as a result of the medication I take due to a health condition I have (and will continue to have to take for the rest of my life) it was a big step.
