Gold Coast Fashion Week organisers are pleased to announce DJ Bure to play at the Wrap Party and will be playing live on stage during the runway shows.

Based in Brisbane, Australia, Buré has made a name for himself as one of the most rapidly rising names in the local music scene. Buré has played at some of Brisbane's biggest dance clubs and festivals including The MET, Future Music, Winter Sound System Festival, the private Paris Hilton Pink and White Playboy Party, Sweet Treat (Sydney), Girlfriend Magazines 2006 & 2007 Model Search (Australia wide) and the Summer Meltdown Festival (Sunshine Coast) and holds residencies at Limes Bar, Fringe Bar and The Waterloo Hotel and is a regular guest at Sundae at Watt.

Buréʼs style is predominantly funky house with flavors of jazz, disco, latin and everything in between along with commercial dance music if the venue or occasion suits. Buré is also on the ARIA DJ servicing lists, so is totally kept up to date with the latest music from Australia’s major and boutique dance labels (Ministry of Sound, One Love, Central Station, Vicious, Global and more).

If you havent seen Buré DJing at an event then chances are you may have heard one of his remixes under the alias Musik1. After a sharp rise to notoriety in the music world, Buré has worked on remixes for Scarlett Belle, Katie Underwood, Ricki-Lee, the late Levi Kereama, Cristian Alexanda, Shaneal and more. One of the most notable remixes was for the ARIA top 5 Ricki-Lee single, Hell No.

2012 marks an important year for Buré as he continues to build his name in the international music scene. Look out for more of his trademark remixes under the name Musik1 as well as his behind the scene involvement with various other high profile projects.
