CICCONE LIPSTICK - REVIEW

Far from being a "girly girl" I couldn't help but be impressed when I opened up the express post bag from the Ciccone Cosmetics PR girls to find these cute little lipsticks... Shimmering pink cases with Ciccone encrusted in diamonte stones on them - super cute!


With 8 shades in total from nudes to deep reds and I had 3 completely different shades to sample.


With lots of natural ingredients like beeswax, jojoba seed oil, evening primrose oil and castor seed oil included I was curious as to how they would make my lips feel...


First up was "Rhea" which was a nude shade and it glided on incredibly smoothly, smelt super yummy (which probably wasn't a good thing, as I kept licking it and rubbing my lips together to stimulate the smell - sooo good).

Next up was "Oceanus" which was more of a coral colour, again smelt really good and the colour was quite vibrant. This one probably suited my complexion a bit better.

The last one was a darker colour " Athena" which was a deeper hue.

What surprised me most about these lipsticks was their durability, their tastiness and smell, how soft they made my lips feel and also the security of the case. The lid actually "clicks" on so there is no risk of it coming loose in your bag.


I will definitely be wearing the "Oceanus", great colour for summer!

After a crazy weekend of celebrating our friends Hen's and Bucks (needless to say the chores and shopping didn't get done) - the boy came home from a long day's work and being the good girlfriend I am (hehe) I suggested take out for dinner. UNCOVERING THE BRISBANE LOOK

This Thursday evening, I will be one of the lucky few to be attending the exclusive screening of "Uncovering the Brisbane Look".  QueensPlaza in association with Mercedes-Benz Brisbane is launching an inspiring documentary film to celebrate Brisbane's style at the GoMA . Former Vogue Editor, Kirstie Clements narrates the film and plays the role as Executive Producer while it looks at it's creativity, passion and everything that draws us in about Brisbane's thriving fashion industry.
